Grease Replenishment (PM) GP8/YR-1-06VX8-F41 Special Surface Treatment Food Grade Grease

S Axis Grease Replenishment.

1. Orient the robot as shown.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

6. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M5X8 socket head cap screw. Reinstall the M5X8 socket head cap screw and torque (0.29 kg-m).

S Axis Gear Grease Replenishment.

1. Orient the robot as shown.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. Locate the inlet at the base of the robot.

3. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

4. Remove the M5X8 socket head cap screw from the inlet.

5. Inject 3 grams of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

6. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M5X8 socket head screw. Reinstall the M5X8 socket head cap screw and torque (0.29 kg-m).

L Axis Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown with the lower arm straight up.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. On the right side of the lower arm, remove the 6-M4X14 button head screws from the right side lower arm cover and then remove the cover.

NOTE: Be cautious of the gasket when removing the cover.

3. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

4. Locate and remove the M6X8 socket head cap screw from the inlet.

5. Inject 3 grams of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

6. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M6X8 socket head cap screw. Reinstall the M6X8 socket head cap screw and torque (0.5 kg-m).

7. Inspect the gasket on the right side lower arm cover for damage and replace if necessary.

U Axis Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown with U-arm horizontal to the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the L- and U-Axis.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. Remove the 4-M4X14 button head screws from the upper rear cover and break loose.

NOTE: Be cautious of the gasket when breaking loose the cover.

3. Cut the wire tie that secures the upper wire harness to the right side wire harness bracket.

4. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

5. Locate and remove the M6X8 socket head cap screw from the inlet.

6. Inject 1.5 grams of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

7. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M6X8 socket head cap screw. Reinstall the M6X8 socket head cap screw and torque (0.5 kg-m).

8. Secure the upper wire harness to the right side wire harness bracket with a medium wire tie over the white paint mark on the blue tape. Make sure the cross paint mark is to the rear of the robot and that the wire tie goes into the indents of the right side bracket.

10. Replace the upper rear cover making sure all wiring and air lines are properly under the cover and secure with 4-M4X14 button head screws. Torque (0.14 kg-m) the screws.

R Axis Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown by lining up the alignment arrows.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. Locate the inlet at top of upper arm of the robot.

3. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

4. Remove the M5X6 socket head cap screw from the inlet.

5. Inject 1 gram of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

6. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M5X6 socket head cap screw. Reinstall the M5X6 socket head cap screw and torque (0.29 kg-m).

B Axis Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown with U-arm horizontal to the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the L- and U-Axis and position the wrist with the B-Axis straight out as shown.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

3. Locate and remove the M5 inlet plug.

4. Inject 1 gram of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

5. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Reinstall the M5 inlet plug.

T Axis Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown with U-arm horizontal to the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the L- and U-Axis and position the wrist with the B-Axis straight out as shown.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

3. Locate and remove the M4X5 socket head cap screw.

4. Inject 1 gram of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

5. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Clean threads and then apply a thin coat of solventless silicone sealant such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the M4X5 socket head cap screw. Reinstall the M4X5 socket head cap screw and torque (0.14 kg-m).

T Axis Gear Grease Replenishment

1. Orient the robot as shown with U-arm horizontal to the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the L- and U-Axis and position the wrist with the B-Axis straight out as shown.

WARNING: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty.

2. An injection syringe (179532-1) is recommended for grease replenishment.

3. Locate and remove the M5 inlet plug.

4. Inject 1 gram of Harmonic Grease HFL-1 into the inlet.

5. Wipe off excess grease from inlet port. Reinstall the M5 inlet plug.
