S-AXIS |
|
1. Locate the inlet, on the base plate, and exhaust, on the left side of the robot just below the S-Axis motor. CAUTION: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty. CAUTION: If using a pneumatic grease pump, set the air supply pressure to 0.3 MPa or less and the injection rate at 8 g/s or less. |

2. Remove the exhaust plug. | |
3. Remove the inlet plug. | |
4. Install A-PT1/4 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Molywhite RE No.00 grease. NOTE: 1,200 cc for periodic maintenance. 2,400 cc for first supply (Grease Replenishment). Approximately 7,000 cc for drive replacement (Grease Replacement required for new drive or 12,000 hour maintenance). The replacement is complete when new grease appears in the grease exhaust port. (New grease can be distinguished from old grease by the color.) |

5. Remove A-PT1/4 grease zerk. Wipe off excess grease from inlet. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the inlet plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
6. Operate the S-Axis for approximately 5 minutes with the exhaust plug removed to discharge any extra grease. Wipe off any excess grease from exhaust port. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the exhaust plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). |

L-AXIS | |
1. Orient the L-arm vertical with the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the L-Axis. CAUTION: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty. CAUTION: If using a pneumatic grease pump, set the air supply pressure to 0.3 MPa or less and the injection rate at 8 g/s or less. |

2. Locate the exhaust and inlet plugs. | |
3. Remove the exhaust plug. | |
4. Remove the inlet plug. | |
5. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Molywhite RE No.00 grease. NOTE: 280 cc for periodic maintenance. 560 cc for first supply (Grease Replenishment). Approximately 1,400 cc for drive replacement (Grease Replacement required for new drive or 12,000 hour maintenance). The replacement is complete when new grease appears in the grease exhaust port. (New grease can be distinguished from old grease by the color.) |

6. Remove A-PT1/8 grease zerk. Wipe off excess grease from inlet. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the inlet plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |

1. Orient the U-arm horizontal with the ground by lining up the alignment arrows for the U-Axis. CAUTION: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty. CAUTION: If using a pneumatic grease pump, set the air supply pressure to 0.3 MPa or less and the injection rate at 8 g/s or less. |

2. Locate the exhaust and inlet plugs. | |
3. Remove the exhaust plug. | |
4. Remove the inlet plug. | |
5. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Molywhite RE No.00 grease. NOTE: 280 cc for periodic maintenance. 560 cc for first supply (Grease Replenishment). Approximately 1,800 cc for drive replacement (Grease Replacement required for new drive or 12,000 hour maintenance). The replacement is complete when new grease appears in the grease exhaust port. (New grease can be distinguished from old grease by the color.) |

3. Remove cover by removing 4-M5X10 socket head cap screws. | |
4. Remove the inlet plug. | |
5. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Molywhite RE No.00 grease. NOTE: 260 cc for periodic maintenance. 520 cc for first supply (Grease Replenishment). Approximately 1,300 cc for drive replacement (Grease Replacement required for new drive or 12,000 hour maintenance). The replacement is complete when new grease appears in the grease exhaust port. (New grease can be distinguished from old grease by the color.) |

1. Locate the inlet, in front of the B-Axis motor, and exhaust, on the rear of the upper arm. CAUTION: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty. CAUTION: If using a pneumatic grease pump, set the air supply pressure to 0.3 MPa or less and the injection rate at 8 g/s or less. |

2. Remove the exhaust plug. | |
3. Remove the inlet plug. | |
4. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Molywhite RE No.00 grease. NOTE: 300 cc for periodic maintenance. 600 cc for first supply (Grease Replenishment). Approximately 2,000 cc for gear replacement (Grease Replacement required for new gear or 12,000 hour maintenance). The replacement is complete when new grease appears in the grease exhaust port. (New grease can be distinguished from old grease by the color.) |

5. Remove A-PT1/8 grease zerk. Wipe off excess grease from inlet. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the inlet plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
6. Operate the R, B, and T-Axes for approximately 5 minutes with the exhaust plug removed to discharge any extra grease. Wipe off any excess grease from exhaust port. BALANCER LUBRICATION | |
1. Locate the left side balancer bearing grease inlet and exhaust plugs. Remove the exhaust plug. CAUTION: Use of non-specified grease will void your warranty. CAUTION: If using a pneumatic grease pump, set the air supply pressure to 0.3 MPa or less and the injection rate at 8 g/s or less. |

2. Remove the inlet plug. | |
3. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Alvania EP2 grease. NOTE: 5 cc for periodic maintenance (Grease Replenishment). 10 cc for first supply (required for new bearing or Balancer Rebuild). CAUTION: The exhaust port is for AIR exhaust only. The grease is not exhausted from the exhaust port. Do not inject excessive grease into the inlet. |

4. Remove A-PT1/8 grease zerk. Wipe off excess grease from inlet. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the inlet plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
5. Wipe off any excess grease from exhaust port. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the exhaust plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
6. Locate the right side balancer bearing grease inlet and exhaust plugs. Remove the exhaust plug. | |
7. Remove the inlet plug. | |
8. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Alvania EP2 grease. NOTE: 5 cc for periodic maintenance (Grease Replenishment). 10 cc for first supply (required for new bearing or Balancer Rebuild). CAUTION: The exhaust port is for AIR exhaust only. The grease is not exhausted from the exhaust port. Do not inject excessive grease into the inlet. |

9. Remove A-PT1/8 grease zerk. Wipe off excess grease from inlet. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the inlet plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
10. Wipe off any excess grease from exhaust port. Apply solventless silicone compound such as Three Bond 1206C to the threads of the exhaust plug and replace with torque (0.51 kg-m). | |
11. Locate the clevis grease inlet and exhaust plugs. Remove the exhaust plugs. | |
12. Remove the inlet plug. | |
13. Install A-PT1/8 grease zerk into the inlet and inject Alvania EP2 grease. NOTE: 5 cc for periodic maintenance (Grease Replenishment). 10 cc for first supply (required for new bearing or Balancer Rebuild). CAUTION: The exhaust port is for AIR exhaust only. The grease is not exhausted from the exhaust port. Do not inject excessive grease into the inlet. |
