Color Coded Robot Job and CIO for Better Readability

When writing or debugging a robot job or Concurrent IO ladder (CIO), it’s much easier to read color coded text versus black text. There is a different color for each category to quickly identify the commands, variables, and comments. To add this feature, there are Motoman Text Definitions available that can be imported into Notepad++.

Importing Motoman Modules into NotePad ++

1. Open NotePad++.
2. Select [Language] > [User Defined Language] > [Define Your Language]
3. Press [Import] and browse to these three files (see attached).   
   1. Motoman_CIO.xml
   2. Motoman_INFORM.xml
   3. Motoman_MACRO.xml
4. Select and import them one at a time.
