SuperPro hardware dongles are currently bundled with every locked software package except MotoSim EG-VRC Educational software. These dongles are easily identified by their color (black or purple).
When a license update is requested, the customer must provide the Yaskawa Support Services (YSS) with the internal serial number of the dongle that they want to update.
The following steps must be performed by the customer:
1.) Install the Key Utility on you PC. The Key Utility can be obtained from the Yaskawa download site or from YSS.
2.) Insert the SuperPro dongle into a USB port on the PC that the Key Utility Application and Key driver have been install on.
3.) Start the Key Utility application.
4.) Select The Internal Serial Number button. Communicate the Serial Number displayed to your YSS representative. There are several ways to do this. Phone, email, or email attachment using the Export Info button.
YSS will create an updated license file ‘Serial Number’.dat per current standard operating procedures and email this file back to the customer.
The following steps must be performed by the customer:
1.) Insert the SuperPro dongle into a USB port on the PC that the Key Utility Application and Key driver have been install on.
2.) Start the Key Utility Application.
3.) Select the Update Key button.
4.) Select the correct .dat file and click Open.
5.) A message will appear showing that the SuperPro dongle was updated successfully.
6.) Click the OK button to verify the SuperPro dongle has been updated.
