Naming Convention for MotoSim EG-VRC

YEC (Yaskawa Electric Corporation) uses fiscal year instead of calendar year in their naming convention for MotoSim EG-VRC. YEC’s fiscal year starts on March 1 and ends on the last day of February. Therefore, there are times when a MotoSim EG-VRC will be released in January or February and still retain the previous year in its title. For example, MotoSim EG-VRC 2023SP1 was released in January 2024.
