Tutorial Extension for HC Robots on Smart Pendant

Introduction

The Tutorial Extension is a Smart Pendant app to help a new user learn the basics on setting up an HC Robot and creating a job. In the video below it gives a brief glimpse on the Tutorial Extension.

The Tutorial Extension is basically an interactive manual, with several content. In essence, the Tutorial Extension shows a new user the basics on Robot Operations, Tool Installation, Robot Settings, Creating a Job, and Running a Job. Below is a video on the Tutorial Extension.

Setup

As of November 2024, the Tutorial Extension was released at YAI-R. The tutorial Extension is installed by default on any Smart Pendant with an HC Robot. The Tutorial Extension can be installed for users that already have a Smart Pendant and HC robot. The requirements to install the Tutorial Extension is that the Smart Pendant Software be in software version v3.1.2 or higher and controller software YAS5.23.00 or higher for YRC1000 controllers, and YBS4.11.00 or higher for YRC1000micro controllers.
