Configure YRC1000 to always boot into MANAGEMENT mode

If you perform this procedure, you will start in management mode after each boot. This is a nice quality-of-life change, but you should only do this if only trusted people will have access to the robot controller.

Standard pendant

First, boot into online mode and upgrade to MANAGEMENT security

Next, navigate to Main Menu > SETUP > OPERATE COND. as shown in the screenshot below

Finally select the dropdown next to “SECURITY MODE WHEN POWER ON” and select “MANAGEMENT MODE”

Smart Pendant Procedure

This procedure is similarly straightforward on the Smart Pendant.

First, boot into online mode and upgrade to MANAGEMENT security.

Next, navigate to MENU > System Settings > General

Finally, click on the “Startup Level” dropdown and switch to Management
