XRC Maintenance Mode Procedure for WRCA01 Board Replacement
1) Turn off the main power to the XRC.
2) Insert the (32mb or 64mb) Compact Flash Card, into the CNO4 slot on the XCPO1 board.
3) Depress and hold the Top Menu key.
4) While depressing the Top Menu key, turn on the main power to the XRC.
5) Place the XRC in Management security level
6) Select the Tools Icon
7) Select the PC Card Icon
8) Select the Program Uploading Icon
9) Press Select to put a Star next to ALL THE boards.
10) Press Enter
11) Select Yes
12) Wait for the screen to return to board selection (this may take several minutes)
13) Power off the XRC controller
Remove the flash card if necessary.
Replace WCRA01 board
1) Turn off main power switch on XRC controller.
2) IF YOU REMOVED IT. Insert the (32mb or 64mb) Compact Flash Card, into the CNO4 slot on the XCPO1 board.
3) Turn Rotary dial switch on XCPO1 board to a 5.
4) Turn on main power to the XRC controller. You will see 2 selections; ALL BOARDS and SELECT BOARD. Make sure cursor is on SELECT BOARD and press the SELECT key.
5) System will identify installed boards. When installed boards are shown, cursor to WRCA01 board and hit SELECT key. This will put a star next to the WRCA01 board.
6) Cursor to EXECUTE and hit SELECT. System message will say “WRITING PROGRAM”. Wait until message say “COMPLETE”, then power down.
7) Set rotary dial switch on XCPO1 board to a 0.
8) Power up system and test out new WRCA01 board
