MotoSim EG-VRC Upgrade Policy

MotoSim EG-VRC is versioned by year and licensed with a hardware dongle. The license is valid for the current version/year plus four additional full version/years (Service Packs are not considered different versions for licensing purposes).

At the time of purchase, the customer's hardware dongle will be programmed with the proper license to allow the customer to run the current version of MotoSim EG-VRC plus the next four versions/years.

Example:  A customer purchases MotoSim EG-VRC 2019. They are licensed to use all 2019 versions and service packs, including 2019SP1 and 2019SP2, plus all versions and service packs of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Notes:  If customer wishes to use MotoSim EG-VRC 2024, they will have to purchase the MotoSim EG-VRC package again.

If Yaskawa releases a new controller during the license period, the customer must have their hardware dongle updated to run the new controller. This update will not extend the license period, but it will simply enable the new controller option.  The hardware dongle license update can be accomplished remotely.
