Saving Pendant Screenshots

Introduction

Both our Standard Pendant and Smart Pendant to save the current screen contents to a .jpg file on the USB stick. Instructions are noted below.

Standard Pendant

Simultaneously press the "AREA" and "AUX" keys as highlighted below. A window will pop up on the pendant screen indicating the file has been created

Smart Pendant

On the Smart Pendant, there are two ways to capture a screen shot to the USB:

Simultaneously press the Fast and Slow membrane keys, as highlighted below.

Select MENU, HELP/SUPPORT, SCREENSHOT

In each case, there will be a message displayed at the top of the pendant screen indicating a screen shot has been saved.

    On Standard Pendant, the screenshot function needs to be enabled by simultaneously press the "AREA" and "AUX" keys when the controller is powered up. Afterward, the pressing simultaneously the "AREA" and "AUX" keys will work to take a screenshot.

    Newer versions of the YRC1000 Yaskawa (Standard) Programming Pendant software do not require holding "AREA" and "AUX" at startup to enable pendant screenshots. Instructions for upgrading the Programming Pendant software are in the "Upgrade Instructions" manual for the controller.
