Create a New Job
- Click the NEW JOB button on the Home Page.
- Select Weld Editor
- Select the text field next to Job Name
- Enter a job name using the keyboard displayed
- Press the ENTER button on the keyboard
- Press the CREATE button
Activate Servos
If the background color of the SERVO button in the upper middle is
- blue, the servo power is OFF
- green, the servo power is ON
If the servo is switched off, switch it on by pressing the SERVO button.
Open Jogging Panel
Press the JOGGING button to open the Jogging Panel
Insert Job Start Position
- Move the robot to a safe start position by pressing the buttons on the Jogging Panel
- Press the TEACH button
The start position of the job has now been entered.
The robot moves to this position on its best path at a speed of 10%.
Insert Weld Start Position
- Move the robot to the start position of your seam by pressing the buttons on the Jogging Panel
- Move the slider to the right or click on WELD START to switch to welding mode
- Press the TEACH button
The weld start position of the job has now been entered.
The robot moves to this position on a linear move at a speed of 127 mm/s.
Insert Weld End Position
- Move the robot to the end position of your seam by pressing the buttons on the Jogging Panel
- Press the TEACH button
The weld end position of the job has now been entered.
The robot moves to this position on a linear move at a speed of 8.5 mm/s.
Insert Job End Position
- Move the robot to a safe end position by pressing the buttons on the Jogging Panel
- Move the slider to the left or click on Welding OFF to switch to motion mode
- Press the TEACH button
Define Weld Parameters
- Click on Weld in your job
- Click again on Weld or on Instruction Details in the bottom center
- Define your weld process via the drop-down menu
- Press the Apply button to save the changes
Build and Run the Job
- Press the BUILD & SAVE button to save your job
- Press the TEST / RUN JOB button
- Press and hold the TEST START button to start the job
- The robot moves to the inserted positions in sequence
- Keep the button pressed until the robot has reached the end position
