Importing Weld Builder Jobs

Importing one or more Weld Builder jobs is a simple process that uses the built in File Transfer utility. INFORM job files are transferred to the controller then synchronized with Weld Builder's job list.

1. Plug in a USB Drive containing Weld Builder jobs to the Smart Pendant.
2. Open File Transfer under the Utility main menu.
   
3. Select the To Controller tab along the top of the page.
   
4. Select the desired job files to import.
   
5. Click the Copy Files To Controller button to transfer the files.
   
6. Open Weld Builder.
7. Navigate to the Job List page.
   
8. Click the [Sync] button in the top right corner.
   

Exporting Weld Builder Jobs

Exporting one or more Weld Builder jobs is performed by saving the associated INFORM job files to a USB using the Smart Pendant's File Transfer utility.

1. Plug in a USB Drive to the Smart Pendant.
2. Open File Transfer under the Utility main menu.
   
3. Select the From Controller tab along the top of the page.
   
4. Select the desired job files to export.
   
5. Click the Copy Files From Controller button to transfer the files.
   

Remarks

It is important to note that when importing new jobs it is required for the UWI Processes to be configured in advance of the Sync process. This must be done within UWI Settings to ensure that jobs are properly loaded.
