Press and hold CTRL+ALT+P to see an expanded list of all programs
Wait until all the programs are blue except OPCUA (This needs a license file, so it won’t turn blue until the license file is added).
Open WebApp
Open browser and type in localhost:8080/YCPApp
Log in with default username/password: admin/admin
Add License File
Go to SETTINGS > License Management and Browse to add the license file created in step 2.
Start OPCUA
Go back to YCPStartup and hit start again. OPCUA should now be blue.
Add Factory/Line(s)/Cell(s)
On Webapp, go to Initial Settings > Factory and click Add to add a controller.
Follow the same steps to add a line and a cell
Add Controller
Go to RobotDC and click Settings
On Init Settings type in Factory Name (case sensitive) and click Connection Test. The Status should change to OK. If it does not, check the factory name and license file.
Click Save Settings.
Go to CONFIGURATION menu.
Type in Controller name and controller key (typically the same as controller name), and IP address. Hit tab, and then click the Reload checkbox, and Reload button
Go into WebApp and open controller tab. Select factory, line, and cell and click Configuration Setting
Browse to C:\Program Files\YASKAWA\YASKAWA Cockpit\DcApp\RobotDC\Configuration and click on configuration file created.
Click the pencil icon to modify controller and add serial number (Note: This can be any piece of information like order number, IP address, etc)
Check “Enable the setting contents” checkbox
Set Production Volume Settings
For DX200 controllers, set Variable for Production to D variable you’ll update to track production.
For YRC1000, on the controller pendant, go to PM > JOB MONITOR and go to DATA > JOB MONITOR ENTRY and add job you want to use to track production as the first job.
Connect to controller in RMS and RobotDC
Close RMS, and reopen it using YCPStartup
Open RobotDC > Controller Setting > Scan, check controllers and click Save Settings
On Robot DC click Home (top menu) and Start Measurement
Verify Connection
Go to WebApp and click LINE GROUP to verify controller info is getting pulled (NOTE: Controller must be in remote). You should see info on the Basic Info page, and the icons on the Status tab should show current status.
