Preparation
This guide only covers the YRC1000 and DX200 robot controllers. There are different sets of instructions for the DX100, FS100, and YRC1000micro. License files are used for some paid MotoPlus applications, for example OPC UA Server and MotoPick. License files are only valid for a single controller. They are generated using the unique MAC address of a given controller. A license file can hold the license for one or many licensed applications. This tutorial assumes that you already have a license file for your controller. Getting a license is a separate procedure. Both customers and Yaskawa Motoman employees should reach out to tech support if they need a license file to be generated for an application. Required tools vary based on the controller model that you are using. For YRC1000, you need a computer with an SD card slot. For DX200, you need a computer with a CF card slot. This guide was made with the latest software version in mind. If the process described in this guide does not match what you are seeing on your controller, it may be due to the software version. Consider upgrading the software version of the controller.
