How to determine what version of a MotoPlus app is installed YRC1000

This guide describes how to find what version of a MotoPlus application is installed. This can be useful information for troubleshooting.

Note that this does not work for all applications. It works for many applications, including MotoROS2, UWI applications, and SimpleConnect. But it does not work for OPC UA Server. It depends on if the applications are properly tagged when built

Standard Pendant

Boot into online mode and press SYSTEM INFO > Version.

From there, click PAGE on the keypad until you reach the page that shows the application version information. It may look like the page below.

Smart Pendant

On Smart Pendant, the process is more difficult.

It is important to note that the MotoPlus app version differs from the Smart Pendant package version.

You must plug in a USB drive and transfer the PANELBOX.LOG file from the controller onto the USB drive. Then you can open the file in a text editor on your PC. Then you can search for information regarding software version.

For example, the PANELBOX.LOG below was opened in Notepad++ and the "MOTOPLUS APP" section lists the installed MotoPlus applications that have been properly tagged.
