Heat loss, sometimes referred to as heat load or watt loss, is the measurement in Watts (W) of the heat generated by the controller during normal operation. This measurement is usually needed for users who plan to place the controller in a confined enclosure to calculate the cooling requirements of the enclosure.
The heat loss value of the YRC1000 controller is below for different models of the YRC1000 controller:
- Small capacity controllers (GP4 thru GP25 robots)
- Heat loss = 670 W
- Medium and Large capacity controllers (GP35L thru GP600 robots)
- Heat loss = 1100 W
