The NX100 has a battery to back up the CMOS memory for the system. A battery alarm indicates that a battery has expired and must be replaced. The programming pendant will display the message "Memory battery weak" which will appear at the bottom of the display.
Material Required: Battery 153198-1 / ER6VC3N-3.6V
It is recommended to make a CMOS backup before changing battery.

WARNING: This procedure requires the door of the controller to be open with power on. High voltage is present inside the controller. Only trained/licensed personnel should perform this procedure. All local, state, and governing bodies regulations should be followed.
Turn on power to the NX100 controller. |

Open the door of the NX100 controller by sliding the tab down and pulling the door open. | |
The battery is located behind the left cover of the CPU rack. | |
Loosen the top Phillips screw of the left cover. | |
Loosen the bottom Phillips screw and remove cover. | |
Disconnect the CNBAT connector from the NBB01 board and remove the battery. | |
Insert the new battery. | |
Connect the CNBAT connector to the NBB01 board. | |
Replace the cover and tighten the bottom Phillips screw. | |
Tighten the top Phillips screw. | |
Close the door of the NX100 controller by sliding the tab down. |
