The cause of Alarms 4121-"Cooling fan1 error" and 4118-"Fan circuit protector tripped" is due to a ground fault or short circuit of the in-panel cooling fan, or a defective fan.
Note: This alarm is displayed approximately one minute after the detection.
First, check to see if the circuit breaker at QF3 is tripped and if it is able to be reset. QF3 is located behind the main disconnect in both the DX100 and DX200 controllers. See images below.

If the breaker will not reset, inspect the wiring to the cooling fan.
If there is no defect in the wiring, replace the cooling fan since the fan may be defective.
