Overview
A customer submitted an issue regarding challenge with YRC1000's EtherNet/IP Safe and Rockwell GuardLogix PLC/CPU. The details follow.
Issue:
The HC10 has 4911 alarm every power up. Temporary work around was to go into the PLC via the PC to reset safety field bus number (safety network number ~ SNN) each time. THis is not the way a safety network should work properly. Other Yaskawa/YRC1000 robots were connected to the same PLC/CPU by EtherNet/IP Safe without this problem.
Resolution:
There is an issue with the Rockwell Automation 5069-L320ERMS2 GuardLogix controller on firmware version 33.011. I rolled back the firmware to v32.013 and that resolved the SNN disconnect issue with the HC10 Cobot.
